ABOUT KH FILM PHOTOGRAPHY
I'm Katie Holtshouser, a 26-year-old photographer born and raise in New Hampshire, and now living in sunny San Diego. I have been in love with photography + videography for as long as I can remember, and I've been fortunate enough to nurture and expand my business for the past 6 years. Creating a comfortable and enjoyable environment for my clients is my priority, making every photo session a fun experience. MY EXPERIENCE
With 6+ years of wedding photography and videography experience, I've become an expert in capturing weddings but also in bustling dresses, making sure groomsmen have nothing in their pockets, making babies smile for photos, wrangling extended family for group shots, getting stains out of garments, editing stains out of garments (no need to freak out when your bridesmaid spills before group photos!) and pretty much anything else. I am not a replacement for a wedding planner, but I can be a resource for vendor referrals, timeline questions, general wedding questions, and moral support. On top of that, you can always trust that myself and my second photographers will work on your wedding day with the highest level of professionalism, friendliness and ease -- so you don't have to worry about a thing. When you hire me to capture your wedding day, you can rest easy knowing that you have a friend in me and you will receive gorgeous photographs/films to remember your wedding day by.
THE EXPERIENCE
I know that hiring a photographer or videographer for your big day is a HUGE choice, which is why I want you to make the right one. If you're looking for someone who is going to email you once, show up on your wedding day and take photos and never talk to you again, we probably won't be a good match. But if you're looking for someone who will meticulously capture the moments and emotions of your wedding day, while also helping you to plan leading up to the wedding day and communicating afterwards, we might just be new best friends! I pride myself on creating strong relationships with my couples because I always want you to feel comfortable with me on your wedding day.
