Morgan and Adam's Engagement Session at Moonlight Beach
There’s something special about a warm, January night in San Diego—especially when you’re used to winter snowstorms and freezing days. Morgan, Adam, and I all grew up back east, so getting to spend a January evening barefoot on the beach, watching the sunset, felt like a pretty great reminder of why we call this place home.
We timed their session perfectly for golden hour, when the sun dipped low enough to give us a warm, dreamy glow. The sky turned that perfect mix of soft pinks and oranges, the waves crashed in the background, and these two made my job easy, laughing and soaking it all in.
Now, I won’t sugarcoat it—this beach was rocky. But Morgan and Adam were absolute troopers, navigating the uneven terrain like seasoned pros (while I may or may not have had a close call myself). It was all worth it for the stunning backdrop and gorgeous sunset!
After wrapping up the shoot, we took a few extra minutes to look at the horizon, hoping to catch the green flash as the sun disappeared. Though we didn’t see it this time, it was the perfect way to end an evening that felt like a little slice of San Diego magic.
Thank you, Morgan and Adam, for letting me capture your amazing love story!
